Hey guys, i will be racing the atlantic grand prix series this year, on a basically stock 86 R, (pics coming soon) my only mods are Kenda tires, works performance suspension, Duncan type 6 exhaust, K@N filter, 38 mm airstryker, boyesen reeds, and a CR head gasket. everything else stock. Im excited to find out how she'll do against all the 4 strokes. ALl my buddies will be on 450R's, kxf450, and a yfz450. I have been messing with them saying im gonna smoke them on a 20 year old quad. anyways, any other 250R's gonna be out there?!

I was thinking about it possibly if I can get my bike together before the season starts. I will be running an 1986 ESR310 fully ported by C-Leigh racing spacer plate motor with 38mmA/S vforce reedsand Paul turner race pipe. Stock frame gusseted with +2+1 front w/works shocks, and 88-89 length swingarm and +4 axle with TCS rear shock. I'm still debating on plastics though!! Anyway, I am from north NJ also whereabouts are you from?

thats great considering you had a mx setup on 18's!! so, my next question was, did ya run out of fuel? haha. so I guess I will def. need a oversize tank?

didnt run out but was close, hit reserve before the last lap so its close on a stock tank.

What type of racing is this series? I live over in the Poconos, it's not a far drive to N.J. I have a basically stock suspention 250R with some other upgrades. I would be intrested in maybe giving it a go.

hey man, you really should. its harescramble racing/xc, you'll be fine on a stock machine. we need to get as many 250R's out there as we can! look it up on the web  I will be running basically a stock machine also, just a few bolt ons..... exhaust, carb, filter, shocks, and tires. Thats it.
