please realize what you are getting yourself into. I did the same thing your doing. I have about $4300 into mine and still steadily climbing. No doubt that you will appreciate it a ton more once its done and you take that first ride on it. I will never sell mine for that reason. Ive put too much blood, sweat, and money into it to just sell it for under 1/2 of what I have into it.

I have some old pics, none of it now. The plastics are getting put on it this weekend, and I am buying Elka shocks for it next week, then after that comes some +2 a-arms and an aftermarket frame then its completely aftermarket besides the hubs which I will change out to aftermarket also. Thats why mine cost so much. I could have build a stock style one for much cheaper

you definitely have done that with your r. I'm planning on a ground up build. but not for a while. lots of cash and alot of work. but it all pays off in the end. its nice to see Rs still being built.

thanks man, it all started with a frame off of ebay, then I went crazy with the parts lol. I got a good deal on my frame. Paid $275 for it and it has one tiny weld on it which isnt bad at all and really doesnt affect the frame at all.

my88r, yea your right that I have with mine lol. Ground up builds are really fun. I may do another one but a full drag 250r. I may throw a stroker motor on the one in the pics one day but thats some serious money to build one

yea man, i have a lot id love to do lol but its doing it is the problem. Ive seen quite a few 250r hybrid's. They are definitely sick. I want to do one but im gonna find a frame that already has the work done to it for the hybrid, it will be much easier
