problems with raptor

Can ne one tell me what could be the problem with my raptor? i had the motor apart and i got it back toughter and it ran fine for like 1 1/2 hrs and then when i shut it off it wouldn't start . i can't find them problem it just cranks and cranks. it'sd geting gas and spark i can't find ne thing else wrong with it . can ne one help me:confused:

personally me and my friend think raptors and junk and are a waste of money, invest ur money into something else like a 400 or shee... buying the raptor is like using using 100 dollar bills as fire paper

i had 2 shees and they were just to much matience and i don't wnat to put the money into a 400 to make it faset enough to keep up

I know the problem the key way under the flywheel broke off my 01 raptor did it 3 times the flywheel spins on the crank a little and the igniton timing will be off please drop me a email and I will explain in details.

o yeah , damn, what the **** i cant think of anything, and i know lots about engines, no damnit i found something i didnt know, i hate those damn raptors making me feel inadequate

well what are the details about the flywheel spining. do i need a new keyway and how do i retime the ingniting

YAMAHAS are junk the only quad that they make that is half decent is the banshee.

ive notied that warriors 00' and 01' bearly ridden the starter is goin in them and they start in gear.

99' raptor does the same thing except the teeth are all gone on the starter

the 01' warrior needs new bearings and everything is lose and broke!!

Same thing happened to our Raptor - we had to pull-start it before about 3 races....then, for no reason - one day it just started working again. My boyfriend is a professional tech and couldn't figure out what the problem was.......wierd, huh? We are crossing out fingers that it doesn't happen again! Raptors can be a pain but they are too much fun to get rid of!

:mad: its your starter one way clutch, bearing, ang gear it rides on. They all go out. I'm on my third set at $250 a hit!!!!!!

Been there done that too, Fortin Gears now. I would love to sell it, but I have like $12,000 in it, soooooooooo I will have to keep fixing it. Yamaha Craptors, I love it when its not broken.
