My rebuild of my 05

First time post but long time lurker.

This took me just under three weeks to get done.

I have almost 200 hours on the bike, all of wich have been in the woods other than about 8 hours of them were at the dunes.

I found a few cracks in the frame and decided to weld them up and make up a gusset kit.

I ordered 07 white plastics and was able to make the headlight shroud work with it as well. I noticed all the white 450r's on here have aftermarket hoodes with no lights. I wish I could ditch my light but too many times I have been riding back in the dark to get back to the truck

I wish I had photos of the bike in black and beat up.

Very nice. I just finished my 04 rebuild a couple months ago. Mine frame resembles yours but my plastics are red. I was dying to do white or black. Good choice with the white it makes the red pop
