My 1988 250R, I did a total restoration to the bike but don't ride it anymore. Nothing wrong with this bike and it is only bored .010 over.
I really hate to get rid of it but it's just sitting in my garage covered up for the past 3 yrs only started to be warmed up a bit and maybe a 10 minute ride around my yard. knows, maybe a different bike will bring back the riding fever. Asking 4300

It's not the year you were looking for, but it's cheap. This was ZSK's quad. I got it late last summer and ran it in two haresrambles. The only difference from what you see here is a set of standard Holeshots on the 4:1 fronts (instead of the Ohtsu's), and Razr's on Douglas red labels in back. All tires are like new. $2000 firm takes her home. I'll cut, paste, and edit ZSK's original ad:

Motor Mods:
Cylinder bored to 67.5mm
FMF Pipe
Uni Filter

Chassis:
Durablue 250R +0 +2 adustable axle
+2 JB Racing lower A-arms
SMC Fab custom length uppers
YFZ front hubs, brakes, and spindles drilled for honda style balljoint
YFZ Tie rods and ends
+2 steering stem
Stainless steel front brake lines
Dual row bearing carrier with remote grease zerk
Works triple rate front shocks and revalved rear
400ex Ohtsu front tires on Douglas 4:1 wheels
YFZ Dunlops on stock honda rears

Controls:
400ex throttle
Custom clutch perch for modified 450R clutch lever
400ex front brake master cylinder
Renthal bars with Scott grips
Cycra handguards

Misc:
06 400ex plastic with 450R hood
Ceet seat cover
Legacy seat latch
Gunnar teather kill switch
PRM bumper
AC nerfs
YFZ Grab bar

What do you think? You don't have an 88 or 89 and you are like 5 hours from detroit.

You never specified a year you were looking for in your original post.

You should get out of the city more. I'm three hours from Detroit. My wife travels to Farmington Hills once a month, and I go with her on occasion.

Good luck in your search.
