Hey i was thinking about buying a tire groover to do my turf tamers and was wondering if it is worth it. What tool would i use and who carries it? How much are they and does anyone have a pic of one? Do you need to balance a tire after you groove it? How hard is it to actually groove the tamers? Thanks

Nacs Racing selling tire groovers for 64.95. I have heard they work good but you can go the same job with a Hot sharp knife. Or a Dreamal tool. If you take out the same amount on both sides and all the way around the you will be out on balance.

Just dont go makign a crazy design in the tread.

We carry them. They actually work very well. They will shave knobs off like butter with out the smell and mess of grinding them off!

nacs racing sells them they work good just wait for the knife to warm up for a while before you use it it will save you alot of trouble and it usually takes 2 or 3 swipes with the to cut on nob off a turf tamer
