What color(s) should i PC my quad?

Its almost time for me to break down my 450r and gusset/PC/rebuild it. I have a few thoughts on what i want to do with powdercoating. I was thinking of getting the frame and swinger PCed the same color as the a arms, or getting the lower a arms, frame, and swingarm white. I still dont know what color to do the hubs and other little misc. things. I would also like someone to photoshop the two color options i described. Here are a few pics of my quad (sorry about the quality)

you could do the frame gloss black and the bottom a arms and swinger done gloss black andtop arms and subframe red.

i think it would look pretty trick if you pc'd every the frame, sumframe, swinger, and a arms the same color blue that is on your shocks. either that or all white.

well the powder coat on the arms now , doesnt match adn is a ugly red. powder it all pink and orange witt powder puff graphics to match your pink riding gear . and get joe byrd to autograph it for u , youll be bad then:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :huh

on the other hand , a blakc frame with blue shocks , and red plastic and blue bottom a arms and black tops woul look sick , with a blue swinger , that woul be nice , or just all black frame and a arms

Here's what I'd go with:

Motowoz Blue on the frame, subrame and upper a-arms.
Gloss Black on the lower a-arms, swinger and everything else.

Red Swinger
White Frame
Possibly a Motowoz Blue subframe but not sure yet
Red Hubs
definatly doing red upper arms
and i havent decided on the lower arms (im thinking white tho)

Pretty much like the 1st PS that Honda#4 did, just some little changes.

What color subframe would look good?

Here's what u wanted, I think really you have to focus on the color of your shocks, maybe like a blue sub and white frame with blue swinger white uppers and blue lowers with blue mounts and blue hubs.

I think its kinda hard trying to decide with three colors instead of two but idk.

I think you really need to get rid of all the blue including the blue springs and blue on the shocks. It just looks too busy in that last picture with all those colors mixed together. Possibly consider doing the a-arms in a different red that matches better with the plastics and maybe either the swinger or the subframe in the same red? I think it looks best when the subframe is the same color as the frame.

Nobody took what you said as a joke including me. I didn't come off that way. It came off as rude. I think if you were just trying to be funny you could have picked your words better to make it clear that it was just a joke that's all. I don't think anybody really minds a little good natured ribbing especially if it's obvious it was a joke.

Just wondering what ever happened to your plans for chopping that pipe down? I think that pipe would be one of the best looking out there if it was shorter!

And about what quadfamily said.. I think the blue Motowoz uses is awesome! I'd almost say ditch the red and go with just white and blue.

Hey Flyin-Low, No disagreeing with the mods, immediate banning is the punishment, read rule #7! ;) What really makes that ps look bad I guess is that the blue is kind of little pieces splattered all over the place. I guess if he did some larger pieces in blue it would be better. Maybe do the upper and lower a-arms blue and also the nerfs and the swinger. Then do the frame and subframe in white? How would that look??

ive got a race this weekend that i think will be canceld due to rain. If thats the case, i will have a shorter pipe by monday.


And now that i look at it, i think ill do an all white frame with red upper arms, white lowers, and the hubs blue.

Black bumper/nerfs.

Black swinger and white subframe.

Black the springs on your shocks. and rezzies.

Black out the front wheels and BC the ring on your rear beadlocks black.

That would look badass.

and also blaine that blue frame is gunna be very hard to keep clean. from all the pics u have posted on this site every one has red clay dirt in it. red clay+white = no good
