How do flat/wide type front tires effect steering? (as opposed to the narrow typical fronts.)
Does the bike slide less?

They float more on loose dirt, so it will push in corners. If you ride hard pack (like TT) it gives you more surface area letting you stick better.

I ride trails and a little bit of hardpacked dirt(like a little mx track)
will these tires be good for this or should i just stay with stock?

Go with a tire with a more rounded profile like the razrs or holeshots. There is a bandit xtc that has a rounded profile and looks to be a good tire.

The bandit fronts are flat and wide man. They look like squares....
