11-18-2002, 04:44 PM

I Love the Wheelie Bar. What does it have for Motor Mods?

Ryan
11-18-2002, 06:05 PM
It looks like a pretty stock moto with no rear shock :p Its nice though. I like the dunning dragsters like the real modded banshee's!

11-18-2002, 06:08 PM
i think that thing would look good if you got some big thicker wheels and some other front tires

Twiztid

SLAMED!

Well what a way to waste a few grand. It horid on rear shockand you call that a drag quad? try a good moded banshee or r or something like that

Ryan

Is that wheelie bar even recomended? What is modded with the engine?

11-18-2002, 06:29 PM
i like the rear tire choice

Ryan
11-18-2002, 06:35 PM
You won't get any grip with those tires. You need something with more agressive tread :devil

Stock Honda radials are the best dirt drag tire money can buy! Dirt drags are big business here in KY and 99% of the guys run radials. Stock Raptor rear tires are the second choice.

Kool I did not know that. I thought they used something else.

11-18-2002, 07:07 PM
tru dat, except yesterday when i was spinning out in 5th gear in a wet field , it was hilarious we have a small oval grass track and i couldnt go over 20 or i would spin around, i just tried turning and i did a 360, it was so fun

Poncho

Jeff is right. Honda radials are the best for dirt dragging or raptor tires. Some times we will stud them up and run them. Only a hand full run pro wedges. This is Jimmy Thompson form T&T Motorsports 500 outlaw banshee that he broke his colar bone on at the Marion County races...

I guess it would all depend on who you are... I dont drag, but I like the stock honda tires....

11-18-2002, 09:18 PM
Im sure this is why they love drag - cuz sweet quads and fastness but wouldnt ya rather get on the beast and fly down the fielkd hit jumps, roost up hills, race at mx or sx or suttin? I dunno ou guys must really like it

drag bikes hehe, i personaly just don't get them hehe. they're cool and all if you have a lot of money but to me that isn't riding at all. most of the time they just look like something out of the 80s. thats just me though. that c-dale with the duels out back is to funny.

That looks damned goofy!!!
All the guys around here at the dirt drage run Pro Wedges, they are definately the best dirt drag tire out there,,,just like the tires Michael posted a pic of!!! But I think the Honda tires and Raptor tires are 2nd and 3rd!!!
Dang $5000 in one night, I need to move there,,,we usually only get a few hundred dollars!!!
Eric, drag racing might not be "riding" but when you really get into it its fun as he!!,,the adrenaline rush at the line, throttle wide open, gets me off!!!:)

I know on the huevos videos at the hill climbs most of them run stock 400ex tires..

heres the pro wedges again. horribble puncture resistance but at high RPM's they go into a V shape! dig like a backhoe!

They arent great in resisting punctures because they are only 2 ply,,,which means they are lighter too!!! I believe the stock Honda tires are 2 ply too though!!

but they are 2 ply radials, i guess that makes a difference

I'm sure they work good were you are but the radials are king out here.

Have you seen SanDragons banshee drag frame with a Suzuki GS1100 street bike engine punched out to a 1500 in it??? It does 3.66 on the strip!!! On gas!!! Thats amazing!! His son has a 450EX on alcohol that does 4.6 on the strip!!!! He said there arent many Banshee that will beat his EX!! it is on a drag frame and completely modified!!! Im thinking mine may need that treatment!!!
