Throttle adjustment

My throttle has a lot of slop before it accelerates, what is the best way to take up the slack on the cable? Thanks

If it has too much play to adjust it under the rubber boot on the thumb housing, you'll have to take out the slack on the carb itself. To do it you have to take the plastic cover off of the the side of the carb where the cable goes in. After you have the cover off you'll be able to see how to do it. There sould only be about 1/8 in of play in the throttle.
