I have a 99 trx400ex i am in the process of putting in a ct 440 kit 12:5 89mm compression piston stage 2 hot cam new valves port and polish. I have a fmf powerbomb header with a fmf powercore muffler kn air filter. Just curious on whats a good starting point for my jet?

i have almost the same setup and am running a 180 main and a 45 pilot with the clip in the second from bottom position. think i am still a little lean on the pilot however, dont know my elevation but i ride in central IN

2 turns out. but you may not want to go by me on the pilot and air screw cuz mine backfires at an idle currently, however she screams like a raped ape on wot. i still may go up a couple sizes on the main just to see what happens but i think this would at least be a good starting point for you considering our setups are close. if you get er dialed in let me know what you end up with for my sake
