Guys,
What make and model do you all use?
I have some sand stars and picked up some used Gecko's that were only used once and I'd like to know which ones to keep and which ones to sell.
What I want to know is what most of you use. Which ones would you sell if you were me?
The Gecko's were only rode on once! Here's the exact model:

Anyone have the Gecko's? What do you think about them?

My Sand Stars did fantastic at Glamis. There wasn't a hill I couldn't climb.

No. I have one weekend of ride time on them. Right around 12 hours total.

Yeah, I've got about two weekends worth of riding time on mine.
They work great. I'm so glad I didn't get straight paddles.

I had my 400ex with stock tires and an old 250r with strait paddles at Silver Lake a couple years ago and I totally hated the strait paddles. I honestly liked the stockers the best. Some day I need to try a v-paddle, I keep hearing how much better they are.

Check craigslist if they have one in your area. I found both sets of my paddle's there for under $75 with rims. The Gekos I just bought came with front rims and tires too!
eBay here I come!

I run Sand Stars and love them but lately some people I know are trying to get me to run some Gliders but I think Stars are the best all arounf paddle out there.
I run sandstars and I am pleased with them. They hook up well from the hole and you can still roost and slide them around in the trails.

I run 8-Paddle Extreme Haulers. Unbelievable hill climbing traction and great hookup out of the hole. Turning takes some body english and throttle finesse.

i agree with everyone else about the sandstars they are a great all around tire! i hear that the straight paddles are hard to turn with?

I think it is the fact that you were WAAAY over paddled is why you didn't like them.
I absolutely love the straight paddles over the V's. A proper straight paddle setup will out perform the V paddles in EVERY aspect of dune riding.
