I always wondered why they werent built that way to begin with, aside of the lack of room.

mxdad423
02-18-2008, 12:08 PM
Yea I think it is alot better. The lack of room definatley makes it hard, but they did a very nice job getting it in there. I like how they lowerd the engine to keep the chain from barley tightening as the suspension travels, witch also gave them the clearance for the rad. These items, to do this will be available pretty soon as I was told so I think it will be a big hit.....

I know i missed that last call I went to bed around 11pm. I was beat from standing around in the cold all day at the races. The ride home killed me. Thank god Rocky brought their new home on wheels the kids would have froze otherwise. There had to be 10 or 11 kids in there playing playstation and watching movies. Girls in the front and boys in the back.

You are right about next year already talked to Rocky I can pick him up on the way. I gotta check out "Casual Caddy". (if that is the name of the place some of the calls were just alot of yelling and something about wetspots on shirts. LOL)

I have to apolagize, I made a mistake. The graphics that were all around the quads were FTR's but the ones on the wall with the skulls were not, my mistake and I apolagize. We just seen so much stuff this weekend I got myself a little confused, not that it's hard to do, LOL....

Those "pink" a-arms look awesome. If I were starting a build that set up would be mine. I don't think Logan would want pink though. LOL  Wonder what the total weight savings would be over stock w/ Elka's?

The shocks on the blue/white quad are DRR shocks that they are looking at. This was my first show as it was for others. If there is any way you can get to it next time, GO!

The Hetrick quad is using the new AFP long travel set up. 14.5" shock. The XMQNW is using DC long travel. 14.3" shock. I am not 100% and wasn't there but that is what I can tell from pics and info I have gathered.

They are both cool quads and it is nice to see they used the different long travel set ups. We get to see them both side by side. Thanks Kevin and Mike for the pics. Thanks Hetrick and eXtreme Mini Quads NW for cool quads to drool over.

Are the shocks pictured going to be offered on the newer 08 quads? If so will it be for the 50, 70, and 90?

He gave me a bottle of water and sarcastically ask me if I need anything else……… lol I hope he wasn’t pissed but he would have had a h*ll of a time getting me up. lol Look forward to meeting you and Bubba next year.
