Is it safe to rev your atv when its idoling or when your riding around and pull in the clutch and rev it? thanks

Yeah, when you pull the clutch it, it is the same as neutral. As long as you are not holding the throttle wide open, it should not hurt anything.

If your bike is a 400ex it is air cooled, so just try to keep it moving if you are going to rev it alot. The engine can get hot.

Yeah, when you take off you do it. You can take it way up til it hurts your ears. It's best not to do it too long though.
