The vapor's are excellent. The install will take you a decent while. You have to drill a hole in the caliper for the speedo, wrap the tach wire around the ignition wire, connect the power wires to the battery, and that's basically it.
The speedo is the hardest part, but the rest is a breeze.

The speedo is very accurate, and the RPM gauge is pretty accurate too, accept for when your not actually riding and just free rev'ing. Then it's kinda jumpy.

As far as tires, RAZR in the rear and RAZR2 in the front

:D

Bracket? As in to mount on the handlebars?

If yes, then yeah, it comes with the mounting hardware.

They have a clamp for fat bars and regular bars actually.

Its plastic, but mine doesnt budge.

Plus, if you roll over, at least the plastic will break and not hurt the vapor too much. With steel it would put all the impact force on the computer itself if you wrecked.

What do you mean, "Drill a hole in the caliper"? Like the rear brake caliper? If so, do you have any pictures? I really want to see them.

Thanks!!!

No, the speedometer goes by the front tires.

You replace one bolt on the rotor with a magnetic bolt.

After that you drill a hole in the front brake caliper and use a self-tapping screw to mount the sensor that reads the magnet.

I can try and get some pics soon. I will also try to get a vid.

And i forget if its the caliper or not. I have to check.

it is the spindle, not the caliper...they are easy to install...a trained monkey could do it...

Mine came with a engine temp sender that sits round the spark plug. I you take the plug copper "o" ring out and replace it with this it works great.

You can just buy a dip stick with a temp gauge.....

03-13-2008, 02:39 PM
yea but i want it to show on the computer

03-13-2008, 02:52 PM
Where do you intend on putting the sender unit? You also need to find out the o/p programming of the unit you intend to buy as they may be different. You can get dipstick temp guages on ebay. this may be the easier route but if your like me and like a challenge...go for for it.
