I can't sell this thing!

I have been trying to sell my 01 400ex for some time now and I just can't find someone to buy it. I don't think my price of $2,300 is that much. I have a lot of work and money in it including fresh top end with high comp piston, hot cam, and new valves, powdercoated frame, new bearings all around and plenty other aftermarket parts. What does it take to sell one of these things other then to give it away? Is my price that bad????

Your price is not bad its just that there are so many 400s and everyone has been on the 450 kick.If you have the stock parts that may help sell it also. Its income tax time so you may get an offer soon.

Unfortnately it doesn't matter how much time or money in it... It all depends on what the market will spend.

You may want to think about selling the bolt on aftermarket stuff seperately then offer the quad for a little less. That's what i'm doing:ermm:

If you are interested in parting it, I may be interested in seeing the type/condition of skids, nerfs, shocks,and a arms if you are wanting to sell those parts.

What do you have going on for the front fenders?
Are those 05 with a 450R quad tech hood?

yes I think they are 05 400ex fenders. it was like this when I bought it, and it is a carbon fiber hood.

berks or columbia county? 1.5hrs to the one in berks or 2.5hrs to the one in columbia county. I might be able to meet part way if you are interested. I am in Spring Grove, PA
