I love the look, but what is it? A form of powder-coat, and does it hold up like powder?

they couldnt be further from each other.

moly actually protects the part wether the coloring is removed or worn off. it embeds itself though the curing process into the crystaline layer of the metal and lubricates it permantley. this makes it perfect for items like pivot bolts etc.

the finish is similiar to what the AR15 and Glocks are coated in. we use it on firearms here all the time due to the factory finishes being junk.

Sorry to invade this thread...but...Pappy your describing the Moly Coat as being like what a Glock has, just cost me MORE money with you..... My glock is holding up great, Now I am gonna have to send you spindles too......and maybe other things........Other that what I already had planned to be moly coated...
