Decided on plastic but need the details

I have an 03 400ex and i'm wanting to switch the front plastic and side panels to the newer 05-07 fenders. I know they will fit but just wondering what brackets I'm needing to buy. People say you need new brackets but i have no idea what exactly i need. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help, maybe someone else on here knows exactly. I'm going with the 05-07 front fenders and the smooth side panels. I read somewhere the 04-05 450R hood fits the 05-07 400 so i'm going to run a quad tech cf hood to replace the quad tech cf one i have on it now.

Any other people know exactly what brackets i need?

the plastic bolts right up but the headlight bracket is needed
i actually used the maier hood that does away with the headlight and made my own brackets for the headlight to mount a little lower like the 450r and it looks awesome... oh if you havent bought your plastic yet you might check maier-mfg.com and look at the carbon fiber stock style it looks awesome...i'll take some pics tomorrow and show you my headlight

my friend switched from the 99-04 to the 05-07 plastics and I dont think he needed special brackets or anything. He just bolted them right up.

That is good news, only thing that has me thinking i do is because the fenders are seperate on the 05-07 and i'm wanting to run the quad tech hood on it. I may just buy it and ask Troy if i need anything else, they are only like an hour away from me.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HONDA OF TROY!I ordered new plastics from them,and one month later I still didn't receive them.They would not return my calls or answer any of my questions truthfully.I finally cancelled my order and it took them 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to get my money back!!!I'm not the only one on here that screwed either. Search"Honda of Troy" in this section and you'll see what I mean.

my friend just ordered a full set/kit from Troy and got them in about 1-1/2 weeks..

youll need the bracket for mounting the headlamps(not shown in the above image) and the polarity for the light connector was reversed.

Honda of Troy is right up from me, so either I'll have them send it to me or i'll go up and pick it up, I received my new AC nerf bars in 2 days from them as well as my Pro Taper Pillow Top Grips in 2 more days since they were back ordered.

I do not have a headlight now since i have the Quad Tech carbon fiber hood on mine right now anyways. So i'll just get the bracket and the new Quad Tech hood and be good to go.
