shocks, yes.. a-arms idk buh i havent seen it done!..

the usual setup is a trx 450 rear and yfz fronts. the trx rear has to be modifed to fit and the yfz front have to have LT a-arms to fit and also have to be revalved and some new part that dusnt put so much tension on the front end for it to snap..For a-arms - snyder.. ASR.. is what most people on budget go for when running these shocks.

il get pics tomorrow and a how to for the other bloke asking.

rite, these are 06 yfz 450 shocks, been revalved ect to perform better on the blaster and the a-arms he used are SMS +5.6 +1 LT a-arms. with it that wide he used inset rims.

Now on the rear he modified his swingarm and top mount for it to fit. i dont have any knowledge on it or if it was completely nessecery as it was his 07 season bike -

rite riderssb250x -

yfz front shocks on aftermarket a-arms mount up fine but if installing on ASR +3 +1 because with ASR's you only got about 1/4 inch of space extra to fit them at full droop of the a arms. so wind the preload off and same with compression so they dont sit as high.

If you put yfz shocks on stock a-arms they will cause too much stress on the ball joints. so stay clear ov them.

with the trx 450 rear shock, tbh id stay clear ov it and go with a trx 400 or a trx 250R as the 450 one is a little too short.

if you install a trx 450 shock as your planning to do then it needs the bottom hole drilling out to 12mm. a spacer making to go between the bottom mounting forks. And then you need a custom bushing making up for the top shock mount. it's gota have an internal diameter of 14mm and an external diameter of 17mm. with a 3mm spacing on one side and a 10mm spacing on the other. with a total width of 40mm
