well i was bored today. got 3 quads tore down in my shop and waiting on parts for all 3. got bubbas old race 300ex with a hole in the left case, his swing arm bearings went out in the hybrid last weekend so i got the swinger off and new bearings are suppose to be here tomorrow. then i got an apex 90 i picked up last weekend form a guy at the track to fix for him. the cylinder is at the machine shop being decked and suppose to be done tomorrow. anyway i decided to work on my mini project that i am building for a pit bike. i bought back one of bubbas old race mini quads. its just a rolling chassie with plastic and all stock suspension. anyway i pulled the clutch cover out and decided to powder coat it. this is the eton 50 cover i was telling some people to use. iy does not use the plastic coves. it is also vented by the variater and the clutch. i powdered it lolly pop blue. then i pulled the vent covers off and used as templetes to make aluminum covers. tomorrow i am getting a engraving bit for my dremel and engrave some flames in the covers. anyway it came out real good.

yea same knuklehead, he says he spent $1500 and couldnt it running. had it in the shop about 30 minutes and got it started but it has problems. he stripped the case where one of the cylinder studs go in. he also changed it to a air cooled cylinder, only had 100 pounds of compression and 98 thousands of squish. rcae werent bad, classes are all screwed up. keegan needs to move up. cleared everything on the track but the tripple and he can do that just didnt so he wouldnt get black flagged. bubba ran second first moto and flipped the quad in a corner second moto. said he couldnt see because the sun was in his eyes most the time.

yea its a chrome base, done the right side engine case in gloss black but it out gassed on me. gonna water sand it and try again
