edelbrock or 450r carb

i was think of buying a carb but i am not sure witch to get edelbrock or 450r carb. any input would be great. thanks

Dollar for dollar the 450R carb is a FAR better way to go! You can get a NEW 450R carb for about $175 bucks and use my adapter to make the installation a snap!

Also there are TONS of people here that have done this mod and can help with jetting suggestions or any other questions.

IMO: 3 reasons

1) It just works REALLY well on the 400EX
2) $175 for a new one! Best bang for your buck
3) More people available to help with setup and tuning here at exriders.com
