XC setup

Looking to set up a 08 LTR for woods racing any one have one narrowed up for woods..maybe some pics. how the stock shocks working in the woods?

My husband and I both have ours set up for woods racing (06's and now the '08s)

We have Lonestar A-Arms, Axcaliber Axle, and Z400 hubs to narrow them up and have Stadium shocks (front and rear).

Colby from C&D Racing was very helpful in getting us everything we needed last year to make the mods.

Haven't ridden the stock '08 shocks so can't comment on those....but I can say that the Stadium shocks are great!

We're at about 47" in the rear and a little less that than in the front.

Funny how much you can spend to remove 3" :)

I am running GT Thunder XC A-Arms and Hiper 4+1 rims and it is about 46.5" in the front and I run an RPM Axle and it makes it right about 46" in the rear with Hiper 4+5 offset rims with stock hubs.

check out atv fourplay they have -1 1/4 max ground clearance i think that would make you a good set up get a hold of tom he is good to work with

LOL!!! So true!

That's one of the reasons we orginally went with the LTR's - we were living in WA and doing some WORCS and other local races.
