I emailed the company above, I received a reply from Craig stating that he gets them from a UK Distributor and their company does not ship overseas. That is jacked up but then again, I am sure they get the same thing from shipments from the states.

A few months back, I emailed Bill at Quad Tech and he stated that he does not make R parts anymore due to the 4-stroke industry... I told Craig that in email, but his tone is in reply was hard to perceive in writing, but I am going with puzzled.

This is bs from the getgo, especially since Quad Tech is a "domestic" company. Either there are factories elsewhere and Bill is focusing on the 4-strokes due to the #'s, or these are not really Quad Tech.

I personally think there is still a demand for the TRX250R - I am sure dusting off those molds|castings would be a piece of cake.

Or....pretty much - nothing else. Just BS! :(

I attached a pic of a couple of hoods that bought specifally made for Full Bores, the company is on the hood in the decal and it's NOT a quad tech. It fits perfect, just have to drill holes in plastic :(.

Thanks to PDXBIGFOOT for sharing secrets. Wait til you see his build. Do not let the QT Sticker fool you. I just had a green one to match the plastics.

I also attached a pic of my Quad Tech Hood, you can see the similarities, but they bolt up different. ;)

I hope this helps...

So back to the original thread...are you sure these are Quad Tech?

Which company? Is it quadtech.co.uk? If anybody has the money I know people in the Uk and Europe to see if they can get it and then have them send it here.

The company could be something similar to **** tech and they just licence the name and design from Quad tech.

Judging by what they go for on Ebay, I'm sure they could sell a ton still

Is that quad tech hood carbon fibre or plastic?

Why are you going with race cut plastic for an XC build?

Yes, that's the company. sales1@quadtech.co.uk is their sales inquiry line.

This is what I am thinking or the pateny|copyright ran out or do not apply overseas...who knows. I think I will pass since I have a white one that I plan to get some nice plastics for. Do you still have that set and how good|bad are they?

No kidding...it is like they are filled with gold or something.

The white one is carbon fiber. ;)

I hate floppy mudcaked aftermarket fenders....agree? Plus, I like the look better. :D
