what type of paint should i use on my a arms? i want some that will hold up, so i aint paintin them every 2 months or somethin...

The only thing that really holds up is powdercoat, but that may cost more than you are wanting to spend. Im not sure what spray paint will hold up the best.

yeah, i was looking into powdercoating, but i never got a price on what it would cost, i was wanted to do the frame too...

everything here was done with rustoleum and it has held up for years. if you do it right, its an alright alternative to powdercoating. still not the same quality though.

it's all about prep. if you just prime and paint, it will ship off very easy. you have to strip it, sand it, and clean before you do anything. also considering the a arms get a pretty good beating, it never hurts to apply multiple coats of primer, color, and clear.

He's right, all about the prep. Using the right products that work with each other. down to abre metal,etch prime, then epoxy, few coats of base and 3 coast of clear.

a arms are the same. Automotive base coat clear. been holding well
