The motor was gone throught about two months ago and had some parts replaced but i was told everything looked great and that i shouldnt have any problems. i rode it once after this since im waiting to sale it soon to get another 450 but i went out to start it and wont start. i charged the battary and still nothing so im wondering if it could be the starter?

Is it turning over at all? Is the start making any noise? IF not i would check the fuse, and floow wires off the batter to make sure something didnt come unplugged

it also might be the cdi box...but first i would check the wires to the battery and starter, and check fuse

just a couple things to check...

You said the starter is spinning? Is it turning the motor? If not it may be the starter gear. It might not be a bad idea to check the brushes while you have the starter out. If nothing else you'll know what kind of shape they are in.

If you have the correct voltage at the starter and it doesn't spin the brushes will probably need replaced.

If you have been doing any frame painting make sure you have a good ground from the subframe to the main frame.

good luck

you might check your plug to see if it is still good
