has anyone who has an outerwears airbox cover ever had a problem with water getting throuhg at all. Creek crossings or anything? thanx

The cover will not keep the water out 100% but will keep it to a min and stop the light stuff.

This amount of water that gets thru is more of a concern if you run a K&N since it clogs the gause with water.

I know there are others here with more experience on this so lets see what they have experienced.

will using a water resistant outerwear on teh kandn prevent that and if water does clog it at all then cleaning it is all i have to do right

My husband cut a hole in his lid a while back and put an outerwears cover on.
So far, so good. We have lots of mud and water where we ride.
The only issue we have...I'll need to spray it with a silicone spray once in a while. Not completely sure why but after a few rides, the outerwears seemed to have lost some of its "resistance"(for lack of a better word). No biggie really...the silicone spray fixes that problem. And yeah...it still breathes once I spray it.
