i just got my uni filter in the mail today and didn't realize it doesn't come with oil:mad: i've got some K&N oil in my basement, you think that'd be ok to use on it? cant be that much different, also, do you think an outerwear would be necessary, i'm gonna leave the airbox alone for now
thanks
my 07 is getting its first mods this week, HMF pipe, Uni filter, and jetted, should be a good weekend of riding ahead

NO, that K&N is a different oil. you need a oil designed for a foam filter.
with no air box lid running a outerwear is a most. but with a lid. you will be okay.
