This is to Hornetgod13, Phillburt57, or anyone else who knows. In another thread, I saw pictures of your quads from the rear and they looked like they had a different axle nut with maybe some locking bolts on them. What are they, and where can I find them? The stock axle nuts are a pain. Nice lookin quads. Thanks.

It's a 'pinch bolt' lock nut. Yes, they are much easier to use than the stock set up. RAD is the probably the most familiar brand but i'm sure there are others out there. I have a 'Mezaroos' (sp?) brand but as far as I know they are out of business.

I'm pretty sure atvriders.com sponsor C&D Racing (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=36) sells the RAD lock nut.

I have yet to see the cost benefit of an anti-fade hub for the majority of atv riders.:ermm:

I got mine off Rocky when I bought my axle. It's only 60 bucks you really don't need a 250 dollar Durablue. If you get the Modquad like mine it will work great no problems whatsoever.

I have a Rad-Loc Axle Nut. It's a pinch nut and has 2 allen bolts that hold it tight and prevents it's from coming loose like stock nuts often do. It cost $50.00 and it comes in Red, Black, or Silver colors.
