I just noticed my silencer was dangling this morning, must have broke after jumping. The pipe section tore right off the silencer. I guess I'll get it welded up tomorrow. Oh-well.

The what fell off of where? I am confused as to where it broke. I had rivits in the back end of my slip on and i had to have nuts welded inside then i redrilled the screws to put bolts through the pipe to hold it tight.

Theres been alot of white bros pipes that have done that. I've seen a couple of post dealing with this issue. I would just call white bros about a new one. Thats what alot of aother poeple have done. When it happen to me I just welded mine togather.

Mine cracked the same place. I contacted white bros. Then I sent mine back to them thru my closest dealer. I received mine in less than a week. They almost forgot about me, but after calling them when it was getting close to race day, they overnighted it to me. Awesome customer service. I got a refurbed one with the new bracket. Unforutnately it cracked the same place as the first one. Oh well, I'll contact them again. Plus the my first pipe was well over a year old and second hand. But they accepted it no questions asked.

My E-Series broke at the same place. I had it for just over a year and got it replaced for free with a little complaining :D :devil

The new ones are re-inforced quite a bit and shouldn't break. White Bros customer service is A1.

They wouldn't cover it. I got it second-hand and no receipts...oh well guess I'll weld it.

My boyfriends E-series broke in the same place - WB was awesome and replaced if even after a year - but first we welded it for a couple of races he had - the weld held fine....you should be OK with welding it, at least for a while.....I'm surprised they didn't cover it! He asked for an r-4 and that's what they replaced it with - much better design for racing.

Yeah, they really hang a lot of weigh off the end of the silencer mount. There should a second mount or strap closer to the rear. Anyway, I got it welded up today so I'll see how it goes.
Maybe I'll try one of the R4's someday.

i was deciding between the T-4 and the white bros. i didn't get the white bros because of this happening to everybody. i like the T-4 a lot, it's not really THAT loud, and it makes good power, and sounds sweet!!
