Hello, I'm an R noob, and I can't figure out what the HRC vent tube T fitting does. I'm not running the HRC kit, but I converted my lid to the HRC lid, and have a pipe, and am wondering why the fitting is included in the HRC kit. I've been through multiple engines, I've just had this bike for about a month and don't know too much about it. Feel free to throw down some good technical knowledge.

Also, if anybody has an HRC lid mudflap, I will buy it.

The HRC fitting has a bigger inside diameter than the stock.

Yep. I've been looking at them. I was just wondering why, since I know where both those tubes go, and can't figure out why it would matter if the fitting was higher flow.

One is a breather hose for your crankcase, the second one goes to your valve cover. The T connects those two hoses and then a hose goes to your airbox.

Does it tie in an otherwise open hose to the main hose going to the airbox? I thought it just replaced the old t-fitting. If that's all it does, why does bigger equal better?

with the added performance comes higher pressures. Better airflow in the tubes = less pressure in crankcase and head.
