View Full Version : will twin turbos increase in mpg?

my old man has just an 03 1 ton cummins he already had the 3 stage bullydog with chip and such and 5 in exhaust all the way through but hes lookin to get the BD twin turbos and were trying to find out if that would increase in mpg?

if your running in boost your fuel guage will go down so much quicker.

it will increase your mpg when your in vacumm. plus with tt's u can run less psi but yet acceiving the same hp. so it would increase mpg's

It might, but with twins are you really going to drive it nicely? Doubtful, what's the point of twins without using them? I'd also recommend serious transmission upgrades with that power.

twins arnt nessisarly setup for more power but for alot more efficiency. They can be setup for more power but there ALOT more efficient.
