question on numbers for racing

do you just need one number displayed on the front?

When looking at pictures in the mags, I sometimes see a number on the hood, sometimes on the front bumper, and sometimes both. What are the rules?

You only need one, but the ones on the front bumper can get roosted and covered in mud making them hard to read. Thats why some racers run both. I only run numbers on my bumper but there big so they are'nt that hard to read even when dirty.

To race MX you have to have them in the front and back.

i run my # on my hood cause im to cheap to buy a bumper right now lol
