compression ratio

i have a 07 LTR and i went to the dealer to go buy some parts. they had a 08 LTR with the rockstar graphics that i was looking at. the dealer made small talk with me and said that the 06 and 07 models have a better compression ratio then the 08. he said the 06-07 have a 12:1 ratio and the 08 has a 11.7:1....Is that true or not? because salesman don't allways know what they're talking about!!!

thats what i thought. thats what i was trying to tell him but salesman think they know everything.

My '06 is 11.7 to 1. I stoped listening to sales/parts people a long time ago. I usually look up the part no. that I need and just give it to them. And sometimes they get offended cause I do their job.
