12 ga. 304 ss. A cross between an AC & White Bros.. I modeled it in Solidworks and had our shop make it. A few of my buds are already jealous...hehe.

Free being I work. But if we charged for them I think we'd have to sell them for $150, ouch. MN has very high labor rates.
Thanks,
Scott

For that price no one is gonna buy them. I mean PRO ARMOUR is the best out there and they only charge 119 for a skid and they have been around for a while now and are a very respected business.
Not meaning this as a flame but that a way to high. How much did the materials actully cost you. Prolly about 20 bucks if you were to buy them at a store. So you are telling me that it costs 130 of labor for that. Not Buying it. I know labor is expensive but not that expensive.
It is nice tho. Very good craftsmenship.

I'm not trying to sell them. The company I work for has nothing to do with ATV's. We just do a lot of stainless work.

Looks very good! You did an awesome job. I would suggest putting in a few triangular gussets though to help from bending, I'm sure you can live without, but just a little extra strength
Nic job!

Actually IMO Pro-Tect makes the best skids, same price as the Pro-Artmor,but there Stainless...and i hear they will protect the rear from runnin over a Mine even, lol

Yeah pro-tect is prob. the best out there. Better then PRM, and its the best aluminum skid. But the Protects run about 135, but will last a while. If u can dish out the bucks, ide go with pro tect
looks good how did it hold up?

It's already been out four times, so far, so good.;)

Keep in mind stainless is about 3x stronger than aluminum (look it up). So 12ga (.105")stainless is about equal to .315" thick aluminum.

That thing is nice! I thought protect was the best skids and like 150 also. So even if you could make them thats around the right price.

infantry317..
That is a great looking piece.. I know what you went thru to model it in SW. I have a front and rear bumper modeled in Pro-E for mine.
Haven't had them made yet though. Great job..
Always good to hear about a fellow CAD Draftsman/Designer.
