I have one and i love it. the black looks great but gets dirty easy and is hard to clean. all i have done is the cherrybomb mod. it makes a huge difference. it is great on the track jumps and corners like a dream.

Since you switched from the 400ex, is there a big difference in power? Do you feel more torque on the ltr 450 than the 400ex? Do you feel more power thoughout the power band? Is it more of a low end or a mid-top end quad? Oh and can you wheelie better on the ltr than the 400ex?

Thanks, cause i thinking of getting an ltr Instead of an yfs and a 450r.

i also went from a 400ex to LTR and you cant even compare the 2. theyre each a totally different bike. i know my LTR is pretty much all mid - top end. the powerband is where its all at. even in 5th you can feel the pull. as for wheelieing its way harder on the LTR cuz its so low to the ground. its not just lean back and give er gas and she comes up like on the 400 you really have to stab the throttle and pull up hard to get it standing but once its up there its not a problem.

Yea it is harder to wheelie with it. But on mine it seems like a bottom-end bike. It revs really quick and gets to top-speed fast but it doesnt top out at the same speed as the 450r or yfz i dont think but i havent raced either one. I raced a 2007 400ex and i got him off of take off and through all the gears and then in 5th i was pulling on him i had about a 4-5 fourwheeler length lead on him.

The dealership about 30 minutes away didnt even have the special edition. He had a standard one for $7399. Then I called this dealer and he had this one for $7095 so he stayed open 30 minutes longer so i could come pick it up. Maybe prices are cheaper around here idk. I had to pay $1540 down because i went through the bank.

I got my 08 se in september i got the fist one in michigan. i was waiting at 4 dealers. got it for $7100 american.
compaired to a 400ex the LTR smokes it. a 400ex is easier to stunt, but a ltr can be wheelied in any gear no problem. power is strong throught low to top. even more with cherrybomb mod.
