like the title says can I use a trx300 tranny in a 400ex? or any gear? please lmk meaby is a dumb question but i have 300 tranny sitting in my garage and my 400 tranny just broke.

I doubt you can, but if u really wanna find out go to servicehonda.com and write down all the 300ex tranny #'s and then the 400ex tranny #'s... and compare.
