I have orders to turn it into a XC beast, and there is a bunch of Elka, Sparks and Houser parts just waiting to be installed:) I just figured i would throw up a few shots to test the lighting while we disassemble it

pappy, what are the plans for this bike? complete teardown and pc work or what? I noticed elka shocks, houser suspension and sparks pipe i imagine. Anyhting else you want to tell us?! hahaha

Pappy

in all honestly, there are boxes here that i havent even opened:eek2: i know there is a power commander, axle, airbox and more.

no pc, no real need and we intend to beat this thing so making it fancy IMO is a waste until i can see what the machine is all about. now maybe after we thrash it, find its weaknesses etc, i might get busy with some mixed pc and polish on the frame:p

all im doing at this point is what the powers to be tell me to do and write about what i find or feel needs writing about. they best send me good stuff, i would hate to piss people off but i tell it like it is;)

any info on that stand? it looks really nice! also pappy, im curious about something. If you wanted to powdercoat the frame, would you have to sand it down smooth or with the powdercoat adhere to the texture? Thanks

Pappy

i will get the nfo on the stand for you.

once the frame is prepped, it could be coated with no worry of adhesion problems. the area that is heavily textured would show texture but could easily be sanded prior to coating to allow for a smooth outer side)

thanks pappy, i was just sorta curious to what you would do in that situation... Maybe i should sand it down and polish the frame rails! haha

I should have more done as this week rolls out. I wouldnt have had it done sunday but we had such bad winds here all I could do was wrench as the power kept going out so no powder coat work could be done:ermm:

Rath nerfs are next, LSR axle, Elka rear shock , power commander and some more items to go along with some how to articles.
