the hole for relocatin the key on a 300

hey, im taking off the plastic on the bars of my 300 and drilling a hole in the side of the plastic, then mounting it there. i heard use a 1 inch drill bit and you have to make a little cut so the key doesnt turn or something? what is this cut and were do you put it on the hole...it would also be very helpful if you could post a pic or even make a circle then were the cut should go on paint or photoshop or something....thanks a bunch

why dont you just buy a 250x key holder and put your key in there. it looks real good KP

Get a 250X ignition holder, I got mine at my local honda dealer for 15 bux. It mounts right up and looks factory, great mod.

i actually might buy one. i can buy a used one, but my honda dealer is run by idiots who say they never even heard of the keyholder and said they would never take the plastic off, it makes the quad look tough....hahahah yea watever. i think nasty has one i might wanna buy
