problem with 05 450r

I have just noticed a little puddle of black thick oil underneath it, the chain has a heavy coat of oil on it also, is there a any seals by the transmission that this oil would be getting on the chain and under it to. thanks for any help?

shift shaft seal or the counter shaft sprocket seal. both easily replaceable. 10-15 min job.
