51hp? Sure. 800cc Chinese motors don’t even put out 50hp. Theirs a Chinese 4cyl motor that only puts out like 60hp.

I have a Chinese 200cc motor that puts out 18hp. Most Chinese comps say their motor is based off a Yamaha engine when really their based off Honda. Funny how comps can sell products they know nothing about. I should buy one and then sue them for face advertisement.

I'd like to take it to the track just to see how long it would take to break something. But yeah when I saw 51 hp I almost $hit i laughed so hard.

I say 30hp tops. I once seen a Chinese race quad that was for $7000. Looked like a real race quad but I know it sure as hell would not be like one.

Heres another chinese quad. Their getting better but not good enough. Maybe some day Lifan or some other comp will be good as yamaha/honda but not any day soon.

the only thing those bikes got going for them is they look a lot like the major brand bike, but they sure dont hold up. i used to sell them when me and a buddy ran a ATV shop. they are all slower than christmas ;)

If you don't abuse them they should hold up. Trail riding and stuff. Them engines dont really break down. It's just the welds that need to be watched. And the axles. Try jumping them cheep chinese things n the axle snaps in a jiffy. I been thinking about buying one of them cheep 250cc chinese sport quads just for the hell of it.

I think this sounds like a job for dirt wheels. Tell them to test it out and dyno it. To me it looks like it's based of a z400. Whats the motor in their? Looks like a suziki motor or somthin.

i see now. it does look like a Z400 motor lol. almost looks like a Z400 too. i gotta say, all these chinese bikes are tuned really bad from the factory. we had a few of them that ran like total crap until we re jetted them. once they are tuned, they dont run too bad at all (still not NEAR as good as the big names).

haha the place thats selling that is about 2 minutes from my house and i've looked at those before. they look like complete junk as fas as craftsmanship goes

I told emailed them and asked for a dyno graph or something backing up their claim of 51 hp. I told them I had a friend who ran a dyno and would verify upon delivery. 51 hp my fatass.

Run away as fast as you can from this guy...... think about it.any stock quad that clames 50 hp stock.its a knock off.why waist your money .buy any other name quad stay away from this one .it looks like a pep boys knock off.if your going to buy it buy two. one for parts.

from what i've read they had these at the big cycle show that was touring at select cities. look alot like the z400 and they suppose to pretty impressive performance wise. also 51hp at the countershaft is what, at best, mid 40's at the rear tires?

just because the japanese don't have the balls to make a true high performance machine doesn't mean china(or korea, or the rest of the world)doesn't also...

the place that is selling that is a boat shop in a marina in the downtown section of a small city.....hes just looking to make some quick cash so just leave it alone. i'll take the camera down tomorrow or saturday and snap some pics to show you where this place is

Hah nah I don't plan on buying one. I just thought it was funny they were claiming 51 hp. And you're right, it does look like a z400 knock off. I did a little research and it's the same thing as the "Hyosung 450" just with different plastics. This Hyosung looks even more like a Z knock off.

I have to disagree.. Yes the suspension may be off. but you can pick these up for 4k even, out the door and 51hp... For a recreactional rider like me, not a bad option.

Now throw on diamond j shock relo and some good fronts, steering damper. It may not be that bad. And the warranty is decent 18 months front to back.

is it really that hard to think of their own looks? instead of copying every major company out there. like seriously.

and i KNOW any chinese motor,frame,shock etc is terrible. weve had enough to know never to buy chinese aggain.

they do not know how to design the frame and probably just base it off a square then go from there. geometry must be horrible, shocks terrible. motor may not be HORRENDOUS but it deffinatley isnt what it should live up to. ESPECIALLY not 51 HP. i bet a stock 300ex could beat that thing :macho

Check out the videos, pulls on a modded 660R.. they have been making bikes for 30 years.. also United Motors sells the same bike under a different badge. Search youtube for MTX 450R or something like that, hyosung ATV etc.

You are right tough.. people have been burned by the fake quads. For some reason, this one has more press and support behind it. Kind of like Hyundai. When they first came in, people thought they sucked... now look at them. Hyosung has the same business model as well (fast parts, and good service practice)...


Sooo.. I was thinking about taking the chance, but most likely will not. Unless I get a screaming deal. like $3200.. then I would go for it. Some of the local Hyosung shops are bleeding and may go for a deal.

Also, I wouldnt place this in the same category as the Pep boys models.. Hysoung makes motors for Suzuki... or its rumored.. I believe its the SV motor.

Suspension can be easily fixed, and 18months of no worries... or at least, no worries of shelling out cash.

I may go take it for a spin and report back.. In fact, I am trying to organize a ride by some of the sponsored riders here on EX.. MPG motors (in PA) may be willing to help or organize.

I was thinking larger shocks.. I wonder what the stock size of the shocks are. Maybe could go with a set of 450r fronts in place of. Thats all I am sayinig.

It comes with reflectors because it is street legal in Europe... Lucky bastar$s... Would love to ride a quad to work!
