250x/300ex conversion ?

um okay so i got all the parts lined out and now all i need is gaskets oil spark plug ETC and a wire harness well i was wondering on a 250x if the cdi box is the same and reverse inhibitor the same if it has one vlotage regulator and i was talkig 2 my dad he said all i have 2 do on the 250 since it is a kick start was 2 run a hot and ground out of the stator run it 2 the ignition switch and run it 2 the cdi box so guys i really need some help please help me and if not tell me were i can get a full 250x wire harness cdi and all that thanks

not sure but i can look at my running 250x and compare connections ps i juist saw a 300 ex wire harness on ebay 3 days left and 10.00 bid
my quad isnt at my house r now but if u get in to specifics ill compare and try to help

alright man thinks i got a good 300ex wire harness but ive been looking on ebay 4 like 2 weeks 4 a 250x wire harness would u sell me yours lol but i could d the wiring im just wondering if the cdi box and rev inhibitor have the same timing

sorry I need mine so my 250x will run.. I should have it home soon
I've got some real plastic to put on it lol so ill be pulling all the plastic off of it so i can paint the plastic to match . then i should be able to get a good fix on the wiring digram ........will post asap

the honda shop informed me that the parts are different (cdi reverse inhibiter)

Sorry I didn't see this before.

The wire harness & CDI are different. Not interchangable.
