250r how much?

I can buy a 3 wheeler 250r for 600 bucks right now but im woundering how much will it cost to get it converted to a quad and get it running fast enough to at least keep up with piped banshees. As far as i know it is running but probably stock other than that. Can you conver it to a quad with the 3 wheeler fram or do you have to buy a new one? Thanks for any input.

You're better off finding the quad. In the end it will cost a whole lot less and you'll have a lot less aggravation and more time to ride.:devil

Well if that is true then how much would a 250r quad in pretty good shape that just needs a new head gasket be worth? I know someone else that might want to sell one. I havn't seen it but i heard that if the gasket was replaced it should start right up. If this is true what would it take to get it up to the spped of piped banshees?

a good running clean 250r is worth around $3000-$4000 with ad ons a fullrace Quad the sky is the limit on prices,$8000 is not out of the ? just a headgasket sounds fishey better have some one familer with Rs take a look, but assuming it is only a gasket less than $20 bucks for the gasket and 15mins labor, I just built a 250r bought a chassis from a guy with most parts for 800 and bought a 1985 250r 3wheeler for 1100. built the bike and sold the extra parts on ebay for $800.00 bought other parts needed for project for around $600 newcrank ,piston rings I have a nice r and only paid less than $2000 out of pocket see my signturee for more details I guess it really depends on you abilitys this thing will smoke my 400ex all over the place
