Quad Tech Seat Help..

I am going to buy a quad tech seat.. and I want to know what people think is better the Hump or the Desert for XC racing?

An also has anyone done the do it yourself kit.. adding new foam and cover.. Did it turn out alright?

I have the hump seat and it was really easy to put on, as far as the seat it's really personal preference i like my seat.

how did you get the foam on the pan?

The foam comes with the seat cover and is a direct replacement.

so the foam isn't glued or bolted onto the pan? It just seats in there and you put the cover over top of it? so when i take my stock cover off, the stock foam will just pull right off..

i had the desert seat and it was comfortable as hell, i race mx but i got the wrong seat from quadtech but i have a humpseat on the way. the desert seat was so comfy and soft i was able to land jumps almost sitting down:eek2: they make great seats, looking forward to the hump seat.


not sure what your riding but they offer 3 seat combos for the ltr450

-stock replacement with foam
-desert seat with thicker foam
-hump seat with thinner foam

sorry to bring back an aold post but where can I get a hump seat I need something more comfortable. How much are they?

order them through quad tech it was about $185 or c&d also has them.
