just install the hotcam stg1 in my wife 07 400ex and a 10.1 piston
got valve lash inspec at .13mm intake and .15mm exhaust. it just seems that it tick awfully loud, i haven't check it yet after break in that i just did this mourning. just wondering if its normal, since it is a more agressive cam , and that the lash is looser that stock specs, and how bad would it be if i just put it back to stock valve lash to get rid of the tick.

After I broke in my stage 1 I readjusted my valves and they're pretty quiet. I think .13mm and .15mm (.005" & .006") is tighter then stock specs.

well since i'm a honest person and i'm not afraid to admitt when i screw up, i'll let yall in on what i did wrong. instead of setting my valve lash to .13mm (.005) intake and .15mm (.006) exhaust, It was .330 (.013) intake and .381 (.015) exhaust. so that would definetly cause my ticking noise.
