I was thinking about selling my 400 and I was wondering what you guys think it is worth or what it could bring in. It is pretty much a stock 1999 except the fmf titanium 4 and the moose racing handle bars and the k&n air filter. it is lightly used with low hours. It doesn't get used a whole lot and the fenders are still new looking. the brakes works great and the clutch grab like new. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh175/Pb_Blaster/400ex5.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh175/Pb_Blaster/400ex4.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh175/Pb_Blaster/400ex3.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh175/Pb_Blaster/400ex2.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh175/Pb_Blaster/400ex1.jpg

Lightly used but the rear tires are worn off.... lol. I'd say in the 1.5 - 2k range.

That is in amazing shape for a 99! I would recommend replacing both front rims before trying to sell it. Their "unround" condition doesn't work with the lightly used comment. A hit hard enough to bend both rims like that could also mean a-arm and/or frame issues. Not saying there are such issues, just that when a buyer sees the rims bent like that if could make them wonder.

Price?? That is hard to say, heck you can buy brand new 07s for $3999 at the Honda discounters.. For sure no less than $1500, it deserves to be in the $2000+ range

I am still in unsure about the price but the way the weather is here in Wisconsin I don’t think I’ll sell it till toward the end of winter. But I am looking for new tires and front wheels. I honestly don’t know were the bend came from but you can detect them, there no play in the handle bars, it rides straight as a arrow, and it has no death wobble in the front wheel. The back wheels are perfect except the tires being about 50% of tred left. O and I m about 20 minutes from Madison.

Nope no burn outs with this quad, those tires are several years old.

No worries, for a 9 year old quad it seems to be in amazing condition. It is rare to find almost any year quad that is still in the unmolested condition yours seems to be in. If you were closer I would buy it just for giggles. Be kind of cool to have.

I am a sucker for older well taken care of Hondas. A few years ago I found a 1976 Honda TL250 Trials/Competition bike in a barn(with climate control) nearby that looked like it never rolled out of the showroom, only been ridden once in a parking lot. I actually had it on display in the sunroom/foyer of my house until a 72 year old ex trials competitor up in New York heard about it and HAD to have it .....think lots of $$$$$$$ :-)

I don't think you will have any problems selling it for a great price to the right person.
