Hey guys, about to install my jug on my new bottom end, and noticed a little hole on the bottom left side of the intake port. never noticed it until today. This cylinder is absolutely mint besides this. What do you guys think? Is it a big deal? how can this be repaired?

hey, i would apreciate it if you took pics or looked inside yours also. I tried to take a pic from the bottom but you cant see it from the bottom. you can see it, but barely, if you look from the bottom and hold it at the right angle...

are you referring to the lil dimple in the casting i see in the first image? if so, it doesnt look like it would be a problem.

yep, its like a little hole, deep enough to fit the end of a pen into. Maybe a problem when the cylinder was cast?

thats what it appears to be. a casting flaw.

Thats what I was thinkin too. If it's not too deep, and doesn't go all the way through the casting, I don't see why it would be a problem.

Thats what it looks like to me as well + its prolably low enough in the reed chamber that if it was a hole all the way through it would be into the bolt hole.
Just put a coat of sealant around the stud before you put the base nut on.
