300 ex big bore kit

A 330 kit (80mm piston) 11:1 w/ cam, port & polish, valve work, etc.. will make a BIG difference.

But is it worth the money? Not really unless you are racing in a sport class. Otherwise for the $ it's cheaper to sell and upgrade to a 400ex.

Not trying to be a naysayer at all. I myself am running a 330ex w/ about $1500 into the motor (8 years ago, so it's probably more like $2k). I did it when the best quads out there were the 400ex. My 330 will keep up easily with a 400ex w/ pipe and filter. But, anything more and the 400ex still smokes me.. lol.

It's just my opinion from experience, especially with how cheap a good used 400ex is now days, that you're better off just upgrading the whole quad if you need more than a pipe, filter, cam, and basic suspension upgrades.
