oil strainer cleaning in 250ex?

my service manual just came in today for my 250ex and i was reading through it. it say's to clean the oil strainer screen every 200 hours. witch means the engine has to be taken apart to get to it. :huh doea it really have to be cleaned that often?

i dont really think it is that necesary. Maybe check it once at like 350 and see how it is.
