I was thinking about send my rear shock to be rebuild (my OEM shock is brand new) by GT Thunder and get the Mx linkage.Worth it ?? This will make a big difference ? comparable to a aftermarket shock and linkage? I was thinking about just buying the rear linkage to help a little bit ...

Need opinion fast because If I send my shock I will take it apart tomorrow.

if you get the linkage you need to send the shock because its changes the leverage and wont ride right. i would send in the shock, i have a revalved resprung rear shock on my 400 and it made a world of a diffrence

I sent mine to derisi racing but I have heard nothing but good things from gt thunder. They have great turn around time too.

I have ridden a few aftermarket setups on freinds R's. Mine rides smoother they say. I am comparing it to elka and tcs shocks. Never got to ride on pep or axis yet myself.

For the money you save i'd jump on this setup again if I was doing it over.

just when you send it in make sure you let them know what your setup will be (linkage, swingarm), your weight, and type of riding. it will ride like a caddy instead of a rock on wheels (my example of the difference it will make)

i rode my friends gt as a loner (blew out my axis) and i couldnt feel that much of a bifference between the two. deff worth sending the shock out

The ZPS shocks are used to lower the quads ride height... the linkage takes care of that in this setup. No need for a ZPS shock.

isnt zps to keep the wheels on the ground not just to lower it?

I have a GTT rebuild and mx link in the rear with TCS lt fronts and i love it. I have a buddy with all 3 elka elites and i cant tell much difference in the two when riding other than his sets a little higher. I know ppl say stock elkas aint got the best valving so that could make the difference. I know that whenever my tcs are due for a rebuild they will be going to GTT. After riding a rebuild rear and aftermarket rear ill never spend the extra 700 bucks for an aftermarket unless i graduate up to evil kenevil style jumps hahah.

Essentially all its good for is lowering the quads ride height, but this will improve traction and handling. Any aftermarket shock will keep the wheels on the ground better.
