cam mod and ful exhaust q's

I just did the cam mod and installed a hmf full sport exhaust and went out ridin for about 20 minutes and the pipe was bright orange.Is this a jetting problem or is this expected.Also cleaned my carb out and seems slugish to return to idle.Any help on these issues would be great.

if the pipe was red/orange only to the bend in the header your fine. after the bend, its running lean. My elevation is 3000ft and i have a 48 pilot/165 main and NCQV needle on the 3rd clip. just a starting point if your near my elevation, everybike is different you know

thats actualy exactly what i thought and heel yes its past the elbow and as i figured its leaner then **** thanx but why is the carb sticking wide open after cleaning it
